Terms and Conditions
(the serious stuff)

Hi Folks, unfortunately due to last minute cancelations we have had to introduce a tour payment system and refund policy. A last minute cancellation has a knock on effect to other passengers who could have booked there denying them a seat and also loosing our revenue for that day.

By booking a tour with Hebridean Isle Tours you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Up to 7 days before the tour: full refund given
Less than 7 days before the tour: 50% refund
less than 48 hours before the tour: no refund

Cruise Ships - In the event that your cruise ship is unable to dock for any reason, Hebridean Isle Tours will not be liable and full payment will be required. It is therefore recommended that you purchase suitable travel insurance to cover this eventuality.

Insurance Advice

Hebridean Isle Tours strongly recommend all guests to ensure they have comprehensive Travel Insurance for themselves and their group. Hebridean Isle Tours will not be responsible for any losses, injuries or damage. Many of the sites you will visit are old and some are not maintained. You will enter all sites at your own risk. Hebridean Isle Tours will not cover any liability arising from people entering sites and structures.

If it becomes necessary for Hebridean Isle Tours to change tour times or if there are unforeseen circumstances affecting the tour, then Hebridean Isle Tours will offer an alternative tour or give a full refund of payments made to Hebridean Isle Tours.

Adverse weather can affect ferry sailing and tours, when in Lewis and Harris an alternative tour will be offered or a full refund will be given. If adverse weather affects your arrival to Lewis and Harris and you cannot make your tour then you will need to discuss this with your travel insurance provider as Hebridean Isle Tours will not be liable.

Cruise Ship Passengers

In the event that your cruise ship is unable to dock for any reason, Hebridean Isle Tours will not be liable and full payment will be required. It is therefore recommended that you purchase suitable travel insurance to cover this eventuality.

We recommend that customers purchase comprehensive individual/family Travel Insurance as should their cruise ship not dock due to adverse weather/sea conditions, or any unforeseen circumstances which may lead to cancellation of the cruise ship arriving in port, then Hebridean Isle Tours will not be held liable. This includes the cruise ship having booked to arrive then cancelling. We do not offer a refund if your ship arrives into port late. In that instance we will work with you, and within the ship’s time limits in port, to provide as much of your booked tour as is possible. We shall also try our best to rearrange tours if your ship decides to change arrival date depending on availability.

Dietary Requirements

Please advise Hebridean Isle Tours of any dietary requirements at the time of booking your tour, lunch is not provided but other passengers may have snacks or a packed lunch with them.

Fitness

Depending on the tour there will possibly be walking across rough ground and you are advised to be sufficiently fit for this activity. Please ensure you wear suitable footwear and clothing.

Right to Refuse Service

For any person who causes a nuisance, conducts themselves in an offensive or disorderly manner, or threatens, in any way, theirs or the safety of others, Hebridean Isle Tours reserves the right to refuse service. In these circumstances Hebridean Isle Tours will not be responsible for any injury or damage caused by you as a result of your behavior. In the event that Hebridean Isle Tours has to refuse the right of service all monies paid will be forfeit.

Tour Itinerary

We will always do our best to visit all the sites and attractions on your tour but we are not liable for unforeseen circumstances that limits access e.g. severe weather, site closure in that instance an alternative site/venue will be offered.
